CAMO SS15 Pitti Preview
A Tribute to CAMO
CAMO AW14 Pitti Preview
Inspired by the city lights, Stefano Ughetti managed to deliver yet another impressive collection, marked by the influence of urban colors on both new and trademark models. A strong emphasis was given to knitwear, presented in a variety of patterns, textures and shades, while making the best of luxurious fabrics and construction. A shout out to the beautiful speckled effects which embody the sight of an urban environment by night.
Suiting is always one of the most appealing offerings from the Italian label, which manages to deliver a tailored take on casual models through its fitted blazers and low crotch trousers: this time around, beautiful tweed and heavy wool was used to portray a unique wintery feel.

CAMO SS14 “Garden” Collection
A suitable lookbook to celebrate the first sunny day in months…
CAMO Rally Collection AW13
Inspired by a famous race taking place during the 80s in the brand’s founding grounds of Biella, Italy, designer Stefano Ughetti challenges us to follow our instincts when it comes to personal style. Similarly to race car drivers who must rely on their instincts at all times, the collection channels the concept of following your inner voice. Besides trademark classics like the CAMO trousers and jackets in an array of wintery fabrics such as heavy wool and tweeds, the collection also delivers outstanding knitwear and accessories. The double breasted green wool and navy herringbone suits are definitely on the list…
CAMO by my good friend and designer Stefano Ughetti is another must see at the fair. Bringing an unconventional twist to traditional menswear essentials, especially in what regards suiting, Stefano always manages to deliver outstanding collections with a few trademark statement pieces in the mix. His unique approach was further recognized during last Pitti Uomo, with one of the suits being selected for Angelo Flaccavento’s “Vestirse da Uomo” exhibit. Stay tuned for their alternative live performances held within the Fortezza’s premises…
CAMO AW13 Preview
I’ve been closely following Stefano Ughetti’s label for some time now and for me, there’s no way around it: CAMO is one of the most appealing brands out there. Imbuing classic sartorial pieces with his unique vision, Stefano delivers a breath of fresh air to everything from suits, trousers and blazers, making them the perfect choice for everyone wanting to look sharp with a twist. His aim? Deliver quality tailored garments that people want to wear and feel comfortable in, almost like a second skin… With production taking place in Biella, Italy, the attention to detail is visible in each piece: impeccable fit, clean lines and unique weaving effects are just part of it…
Stefano is definitely a designer to look out for, so much so, that one of his suits was part of a curated selection of pieces in Angelo Flaccavento’s “Vestirse da Uomo” exhibit, showcasing 20 essential items every men should have in his wardrobe (more on that later). To top it off, both him and his staff are among the nicest people I’ve met to date.
While we’re still months away from getting our hands on this collection, that green twill suit is already on my wishlist…
