Beyond Fabric Holidays Lookbook
I’m proud to announce that Beyond Fabric’s first lookbook ever is now live! Shot by Filipa Alves in Porto, named by several publications as one of Europe’s 2013 top traveling destinations, it focus the reinvented Shepherd’s Capes ability to adapt to a variety of styles and environments.
Within the chosen locations are Rem Koolhaas’ iconic Casa da Música, beautiful streets located in Porto’s Foz and Miss’Opo, a unique guesthouse in the city center, go-to destination for both locals and visitors. Check the entire lookbook below!

Pitti’s just around the corner and I’m now preparing everything for yet another outstanding week. Although it will be my 4th visit to the fair, I’m feeling as excited as the first time: the unique universe that surrounds Pitti makes it enticing every single time. Meeting favourite designers and previewing upcoming collections, discovering new brands and inspirations, exchanging ideas and rendezvous with old and new friends, all make it a one-of-a-kind experience.
As usual I’ll be covering the whole event, so stay tuned for an extensive feed of street style pics and collection previews. By the way, it’s always nice to remember that there’s more than just sharply dressed men at the Fortezza…

Digging deep into its cultural heritage, Beyond Fabric presents a reinterpretation of the traditional century-old capes worn by shepherds in Southern Portugal. Maintaining all the traditional manufacturing techniques and authentic materials, such as the unique wool fabric Burel, this exclusive version delivers a unique design with more fitted silhouette.
Available in 4 colors with contrasting checked inner linings, this is truly an excepcional outerwear piece, made to withstand harsh weather conditions being both wind and waterproof.

Online Store - Coming Soon
I’m proud to announce that Beyond Fabric will soon feature its very own online store. After years of delivering quality content with a unique vision and emphasis on personal style, I felt the time had come to take the project to a new level. The store will carry on the blog’s legacy, introducing Beyond Fabric’s private label and collaborations, as well as upcoming portuguese designers and brands.
For me, it’s not only a way to materialize ideas into great garments and accessories, but also the culmination of a long-lasting dream. As usual you can expect an eclectic mix of styles, ranging from statement pieces up to everyday essentials and unique accessories.
