As expected, Alexander Helle and T-Michael’s upcoming creations are nothing short of mindblowing. In my opinion, the duo has been delivering some of the most unique pieces I’ve seen to date, so much so, that even with a scorching 40 degrees in Firenze, I wanted to try each of them on… Instead of (simply) updating or restyling traditional garments, such as trenches or macs, Norwegian Rain is redefining outerwear as we know it, creating unique models that merge some of the most advanced fabric technology with high-end design. Definitely one to keep under the radar.

With an outstanding duo comprised by bespoke tailor T-Michael and creative director Alexander Helle at its core, Norwegian Rain is another one to keep under the radar. Presenting a unique mix between “extreme outerwear and Japanese sensibility”, the project delivers polished alternatives for those who, like its founders, face the rain (almost) on a daily basis. Highly technical windproof and waterproof fabrics are merged with refreshing designs to make you look flawless, even if the weather doesn’t match…
Paper Etiquette - Italian paper brand Fedrigoni delivers this outstanding book made by English designer Jonathan Shackleton. Depicting several sartorial menswear templates such as blazers, vests or bowties, one can reproduce the above pictures using origami-like techniques.
