Pierrepont Hicks SS13 Lookbook starring Walker Lamond
Paper Etiquette - Italian paper brand Fedrigoni delivers this outstanding book made by English designer Jonathan Shackleton. Depicting several sartorial menswear templates such as blazers, vests or bowties, one can reproduce the above pictures using origami-like techniques.

With the first batch of bows finally ready for delivery, I decided it was time to put them to the test. Focusing on embracing new projects, it seemed appropriate to shoot a small editorial to properly support my first brand collaboration. Shot by Rita Lino, I’m proud to share with you the first ever Beyond Fabric Lookbook.

Beyond Fabric x Coisas d’Homem
I really love what the guys over @ Coisas d’Homem have been doing since they first opened their store in 2009. Their devotion to menswear accessories has placed them high up on the list of Porto’s men’s stores, becoming the place to go for original, one of a kind add-ons. If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll most likely have seen some of their pieces, as most of my bowties were purchased there:
I’ve been wanting to work with them for a while now, and I’m proud to announce that the results of our first collaboration are almost ready for the debut! Carrying on our mutual passion for bowties this exclusive line will feature 4 styles in different fabrics, all in their successfully functional pre-tied version, for added comfort and instant flamboyance. Although the fabric used in each style is the same, each bow is unique as different cuts of the fabric are used, resulting in singular patterns and textures.
Keep an eye out as the styles will soon be available for purchase here at the blog!!
Pierrepont Hicks SS11
I’ve praised American brand Pierrepont Hicks' neckwear before… Their passion for quality ties and bowties is visible in each and every piece, whose craftsmen gather more than 70 years of experience. Taking an innovative approach to a market saturated with offerings of all sorts, they produce some of the most detailed and refreshing pieces out there.
This season, they combine their trademark contrasting blade ties and reversible bows, with fresh summery fabrics such as linen, silk and lightweight cotton. The color palette revolves mostly around pastels, but for those of you with a love for bolder items, there’s still something in the mix to suit your liking. Also, did I mention that at 3”, their ties are the perfect width?
The tough part will be deciding which to get…
