The varsity jacket is one of those iconic American pieces, everyone has desired at one time or another. If you live outside the States, chances are you grew up watching all kind of movies in which it starred as the main character and was portrayed as the “must have” jacket. Undoubtedly, one of the best ways to get your hands on one is to browse every thrift shop you can think of, hoping to find the right one, or simply spend a few hours on Ebay. If, for some reason, this has not worked for you or you simply are not into vintage pieces, Nike must have heard your prayers. Starring as a part of its Fall/Winter collection, Nike presents the Destroyer Jacket: a remake of the traditional varsity jacket, featuring front zip closure, nylon inner lining and a double layer of waterproof wool. Available in an array of fabrics and color combinations, there’s no excuse not to own one now…
