Q:Hi there. Fantastic blog you have, it really gives me inspiration. My question. I have this fantastic red Lee 101 shirt (go to butterystore co uk - shirts - lee 101 Rider shirt) but unfortunately I don't know how to combine this shirt with a second layer (cardigan for example). Hi Thomas, thanks for the support! Layering becomes a bit more complex when you throw pattern into the mix, such as your checked Rider shirt. As a rule of thumb you can match other garments to the shades of the pattern, in this case a charcoal/grey cardigan would do the trick. Just keep the cardigan simple since the shirt is already a strong piece and you should do fine. Also if you’re feeling a bit bolder I can picture it with a camel cardigan as well.
