Stamp of Approval - Dr. Harris

One of the things men have come to care about more and more, is grooming. The basic principles of male grooming have always been a part of a gentleman’s daily routine, but were limited to a close shave and cologne. Any more than that was meant for women alone.

Lucky for us this concept has changed considerably over the last few years, with men becoming more aware that cologne and aftershave aren’t enough. This collective consciousness has raised to a degree where men are now undergoing all kinds of beauty treatments and such (the so called metrosexuals). Without going into the full extent of the definition, I too believe one should pay special attention to body care.

That’s why I was pleased to find out about Dr. Harris. These English Chemists have been around for over 200 years, catering to the every need of British gentlemen worthy of the “title”. A family business of tradition, their quality can be attested by the warranted titles of Chemists to HRHs Queen Elizabeth and the Prince of Wales. If it’s good enough for them…

Their product range includes colognes, aftershaves, body lotions, soaps, shower gel, shaving utensils and more. One of the things I fancy the most is the vintage aesthetic, which recalls their original products that are still handmade to this day. Also, there’s a whole masculine vibe in all their stuff, especially the shaving kits, comprised of razors, badger brushes and towels.

For delivering century old quality products, Dr. Harris receives Beyond Fabric’s Stamp of Approval.
