The Essence of Autumn - Blog Contest
My good fellow blogger Kristy Elena from Vogue Gone Rogue has recently put up a blog event with the theme: The Essence of Autumn. The event is actually a contest where several bloggers try to come up with the best outfit to reflect the theme, while competing for an amazing one week stay at a villa in the Greek island of Corfu.
The winner will be selected through the number of Bloglovin likes he/she receives, so help me out and click “Like” this post, in my Bloglovin page!!

This look is aimed at those early and temperate Fall days such as the ones we’ve been experiencing lately, when you can ditch the warm sweaters and heavy coats. I went for this slim heavy wool two button blazer in charcoal, as it adds warmth and makes for a great silhouette. Underneath, I paired a white/blue striped oxford shirt with a navy brushed cotton vest which makes for an interesting visual effect through texture and layering. Also, it sets the whole look apart from the usual shirt/blazer combo. On the bottom, my ever faithful Levi’s 511 slim and distressed brown penny loafers. To top it off I added the silk bandana for flare and added warmth.
Charcoal Blazer by Rice; Oxford Shirt by Our Legacy; Vintage Navy Vest; Denim by Levi’s (511 slim); Distressed Brown Penny Loafers by Lottusse; Silk Bandana by Épice, Sunglasses by Ray Ban.
